25 April 2007 00:00 Central Networks brings FA Cup fever to Gloucester

Central Networks, the electricity distribution company for central England, is spreading FA Cup fever in Gloucester this weekend by offering fans the chance to get up close and personal with the legendary FA Cup trophy.

Part of E.ON UK, the Sponsor of The FA Cup, Central Networks has arranged for the top prize of the world’s most famous domestic knock-out cup competition to be on display at Meadow Park this Saturday at 2pm in advance of Gloucester City’s match with Clevedon Town.

Phil Wilson, Customer Operations Manager for Central Networks, said: “This is an amazing opportunity for local fans to see the trophy in person and there will be a photographer on hand who will be taking pictures of fans with the Cup¹.

“We’re delighted to be able to share this experience with the people of Gloucester and would encourage any football fans to come to the ground and get a rare chance to get as close to the Cup as some of their football heroes.”

Gloucester City Football Club is offering reduced rate entry for the match against Clevedon Town with prices at £4 for adults and £1 for children.
