03 December 2004 00:00 Central Networks donate over £2,000 to local Air Ambulance Trust

Central Networks staff in Sleaford have handed over a cheque for £2,325 to the Lincolnshire and Nottinghamshire Air Ambulance Charitable Trust.

The team from the Sleaford Delivery Centre donated the £25 they were awarded to mark the re-branding of Powergen to E.ON UK, the company that owns Central Networks.

Delivery Centre manager Pete Gregory said: “The Air Ambulance is an essential service and we’re delighted to be able to help them continue their excellent work through our donation.

“We operate in a rural part of the county and, if we ever needed an emergency ambulance service, we’d rely on the Air Ambulance.

“They do a fantastic job in out local area and we’re delighted that we can offer them our support.”

As part of the work with the Air Ambulance Charitable Trust, the team at Sleaford recently heard a talk on their work and also took the opportunity to present the cheque to Dr Ian Hindle.

In addition to the £2,000 donated by staff as part of the re-branding, a further £300 was raised by Sleaford Delivery Centre’s ‘tuck shop’.
